MMA fighters are far better at eye pokes than kickboxers, they get lots of practice eye poking due to MMA gloves VS boxing gloves that don’t allow this.

MMA fighters are far more skilled at knees and elbows, not to mention headbutts and of course clinch that kickboxers don’t do unless they are MT fighters.

Takedowns and submissions are super effective in 1 v 1 fights, and wrestling is super effective all around. MMA fighter has far more tools than a kickboxer. Even in straight up kickboxing they often don’t allow savat kicks etc. while MMA fighters would do that instantly.

How is the MMA fighter going to squeeze the dude’s balls when the boxer is keeping distance? If the MMA fighter takes it to the ground, it’d be even because they both would be squeezing each other’s balls or biting until one passes out or they both just end up letting go and standing back up.

Some guys ascend and really just understand fighting and the movements but the rest are just card fillers who are punching bags with cte
and some of them will never be able to carry over to mma successfully. Even poor gokan saki got ko'd in the ufc =(

by definition of your thread, a pro kickboxer won't have any idea about distance in regards to mma. All it would take it a few jab feints, level change feints and your pro kickboxer won't know whats up.
