If someone like Khabib tried grappling close in a street fight, they'll just be neutralized with eye gouging, balls squeezing, or biting. You can't do that with a pro kickboxer since they keep their distance and work you with powerful kicks.

A pro kickboxer would destroy a pro MMA fighter in a street fight anyday

Realistically a "street fight" is won by the sneaky kunt who pretends it's all good and they don't want to fight, then they clock the other guy from behind with a brick.
Cope or Rope boyos.
“Many religions now come before us with ingratiating smirks and outspread hands, like an unctuous merchant in a bazaar. They offer consolation and solidarity and uplift, competing as they do in a marketplace. But we have a right to remember how barbarically they behaved when they were strong and were making an offer that people could not refuse.”

No lol
MMA fighters are far better at eye pokes than kickboxers, they get lots of practice eye poking due to MMA gloves VS boxing gloves that don’t allow this.
MMA fighters are far more skilled at knees and elbows, not to mention headbutts and of course clinch that kickboxers don’t do unless they are MT fighters.
Takedowns and submissions are super effective in 1 v 1 fights, and wrestling is super effective all around. MMA fighter has far more tools than a kickboxer. Even in straight up kickboxing they often don’t allow savat kicks etc. while MMA fighters would do that instantly.
If you had to pick one fighter to help you in a street fight you should take someone who is good at striking (both boxing and kicking, as well as knees and elbows preferably), and has good grappling to avoid takedowns and holds. You should take Jon Jones for example. Any kickboxer is getting taken down and submitted by Jones in 10 seconds or less. 100%Last edited by kusok; 10-07-2020 at 03:12 PM.

Lol. Try to gouge khabibs eyes buddy. If youre not preoccupied with batteling against his arms your going to be taken down in exactly 1 second and have your face kicked in.
Trust me, kicks are completely useless in street fights. Only thing that matters on the streets is boxing/elbows/headbutts/wrestling and soccer kicks. srs

what do you consider a "pro kickboxer" op?
the bar for that is really low.
do you even know the history of kickboxing?
have you watched the old k1 fights and now glory kickboxing?
a lot of those guys are just bums.
My gym has a few guys who fought in glory and (and also the ufc) and only had like 4 fights to their name.
Some guys ascend and really just understand fighting and the movements but the rest are just card fillers who are punching bags with cte
and some of them will never be able to carry over to mma successfully. Even poor gokan saki got ko'd in the ufc =(Bubble Butt Brahs Crew (BBBC) [as a brah, got a bubble butt & I can't deny it]

thats because kickboxing is chit tier standup. kb<<<<<<<<<<<<<boxing<MT
Thats why you have guys like RvR way bigger and stronger get dominated by someone like Sittichai, when sittichai comes from an 8 limb sport yet out classes RvR in his own sport that he specializes in that only requires hands and kicks
