What is this leg attachment used for?

Bench came with two leg attachments: one for leg extension/curl, the other I don't know what for.

What purpose or exercises is this attachment used for?

It's a decline attachment, to keep you from sliding down the bench during pressing and ab/crunch movements.

Image still works for me, but imagine sitting at the end of a bench with a leg extension attachment that has (only) one pair of padded rollers (fixed and immovable) at about mid-shin, or higher. There is no hinge/pivot point allowing any leg movement or rotation at all, in any direction.

As urbanlifter indicated, it's just to hook your ankles/feet under, etc., to keep your body from sliding downhill on a declined bench while doing something like a situp/crunch or decline bench press.
