    MMA training

    Anyone doing MMA training in the days of COVID. I'd like to get one day a week in. I also wear glasses 100% time now, and I hate contacts. Got any suggestions?

    I don't train MMA but I do train BJJ. I have a dedicated training partner that I roll/drill with twice a week and do 1 private lesson with my coach a week. I keep the circle as small as possible. My academy isn't rolling but is drilling w/dummies (which I'm not doing).

    Glasses can't help.

    Once a week with a neighbor and we vary between stand up striking and rolling. Only two of us, so exposure is limited. Good luck.

    A lot of MMA fighters wear glasses and I doubt that they wear contacts when they're sparring or actually competing. Maybe find one with a FaceBook page and ask how they go about it. If it's just an interest, a day each week is fine, but don't expect a limited amount of training to kick in in a real life situation.
    It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.

    It's easy to not be afraid of tigers when you're sitting in your living room watching a television program about tigers. When you're in the jungle where the tigers are, it's quite a different story.

    you don't need contacts or glasses. A bit uncomfortable at first but you will get used to it. Beings slightly off-focus doesn't hurt, you will still see punches coming.
