- Buying alcohol. The return on investment is abysmal.
- Dining out more than twice a week. Spending $350 a month on restaurants is nonsensical; keep it under $200 if you're single.
- Impulse buys. Sticking to a plan corrects this nuisance. I would limit it to $80/month.

Buying anything on credit and not being able to pay it off by end of the bill cycle.
Paying any kind of finance charges or interest (other than your home).Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
Thus unlamented let me die;
Steal from the world, and not a stone
Tell where I lie.

Charge everything to CC every month and pay the full bill to not carry a balance. This earns me points on expenses I would have incurred anyways, plus the CC company has better protection/security than a debt card.
Automatically contribute $20k/yr to my 401k deducted from my paycheck I never see or feel it. In 30 years it can be worth a substantial sum. I realize not everyone can do this but you should strive to once you start making $70k+, this pairs well with living below your means :-)
Buying used - I buy used good quality clothes, watches, etc for a fraction of new. If I need something like a suit I can save about 50% off new prices every time for a good suit just know your size in each brand you like.Posts are for fun, not to be taken seriously or as truth.

Save lots of money while minimally impeding your quality of life:
-Get extra drunk at the pregame and minimize the $15 cocktails at the bar
-Don't buy $5 starbucks lattes every morning just lol if you do this
-Absolutely zero credit card interest should ever be paid
-Never pay MSRP for certain large purchases (i.e. TVs are always on sale)
-Don't upgrade your iphone every year... it's virtually been the same for the past 3 gens
-Keep savings in a high interest savings account
