Guys like Kobe, Kareem, Wilt, Russel, Magic all have cases within their own rights. I prefer Lebron, but you're a certified retard if you think it's that easy. How about you don't diminish Kobe getting 5 chips including a 3 peat and so on and so on. I'm not going to pretend a dude is retarded because he thinks Bill Russel and his bazillion chips don't have a say in the discussion vs a guy with 3 chips, regardless of era.
It's not because Bron is contending for 2nd with others that MJ is doing so as well. That's a ridiculous statement. A is not B and B is contending with C/D/E/F so A is also contending? Welcome to the female school of logic. MJ is the clear cut number one. He dominated in a competitive era in a crazy fashion. No real slip ups on the record. Most people agree on this for a reason. If Lebron gets the chip next year, no one can take his number two spot and teh GOAT discussion is live once again.Permanent reminder that MBisonSon is a fgt => https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=181456073

Stay mad and continue to follow me you flaming ******* lmao.. you can get in line cause half the people on this fkn site do it
But yes if LeBron gets 5 rings TO ME, he's the GOAT
I've said multiple times on this site that they are currently tied. Him getting 4 won't change much for me since he's tied for #1

If you don't give AF then why are you always so emotional about everything if it doesn't align with your views? This is not even about politics, this is about you being a White Knight in shining armor for LeBron.. Give your 2 cents and move on. Instead you spaz out. Even during the game.. "DaNnY gReEn pLs"
You can't debate or talk to an emotional person.

2011 is objectively the only real slight on Lebron's resume and nobody is denying that. If anyone is then he/she is stupid, plain and simple. He was atrocious but it also may have played a big role into shaping him into the player he is today. Look at his other finals losses:
- lost in 2007 to a team with 3 hofers and hof coach while playing with what might be the worst roster to ever make the finals
- lost in 2014 to a team playing literally perfect basketball
- lost in 2015 when his 2nd option was fuking Delly
- lost in 2017 and 2018 to a team that might as well be the best roster ever constructed
Yeah, losses go on a resume but let's be honest, 2011 is the only one where Lebron actually played like chit. Replace him with prime Jordan in those other 5 losses and he still loses.
Just for the sake of discussion, let's assume that Lakers 3peat and it's 6/6 vs 6/12. Which one implies more success?Ragnar Lothbrok crew

2011 he was the two time MVP, in the prime of his career, and it wasn't his first time in the finals. Its not like he was in his first few years and on the way up, to me for that reason it speaks volumes about his mentality (or lack of)
I wonder if its that he struggles when his team is favourite, and he is looked at as the main point scorer. Its easy to not feel the pressure when you are the underdog, or when Kyrie is carrying the offensive load6'1, 205 lbs

No idea which one implies more success. Depends on how you wanna look at it.
imo the 6/6 still carries more weight as its then just a number of rings game then.
Nobody doubts Brons longevity (it is supreme), but what annoys me is the most is that he cant dominate. With this current chip he will win now will be the first time in 15 years that we can say he has come out on top vs his crop of rivals who are all on 2-3 chips ( KD, Steph, Kawhi). Why are we saying this in year 16 of his career?? MJ showed up, wrapped his hands around the trophy and didnt let go.
Bron would be a strong number 2 if he wins this year imo.
Look at all those playoff charts, LBJ stacks high, if you didnt wants basketball you would think the guy has like 8 rings.. thats how high he ranks and 'dominates'. But he didnt win.

Because if you want to be the best of all time you cant just "be chit" sometimes and great at others.
The only excuse is if he was a rookie or something, he wasn't, far from it
If I was building a team Id rather have Jordan. He may be less talented overall, but you know you will get his absolute best when you need him the most6'1, 205 lbs

If he gets 6 rings (which I think he definitely can and will bar any injuries), then there can be a serious conversation about him being the GOAT. Jordan will still be number one in my eyes. Both can dominate at will, but there was just something scary about Jordan when he was serious. Very good players legit feared that guy and did not want to anger him.
