In Australia my options for aftermarket car parts are about 95% made in China.
Is this also a problem in America?

In China people aren't taught not to cheat, just not to get caught.

How American is it really if it's full of Chinese parts?...and according to which an ensign might rank incomparably higher than a general, and according to which what was needed for success in the service was not effort or work, or courage, or perseverance, but only the knowledge of how to get on with those who can grant rewards, and he was himself often surprised at the rapidity of his success, and at the inability of others to understand these things

Almost everything is made in China nowadays. Companies like Manley have their cranks and rods forged in China, then machined to spec in America.
Thankfully in America, we don't get hit by tons of importation taxes on car parts.
classic cars and china don't go together.. They were actually made in america.
New cars, however...Worst jew in the world.

Want OEM? Gotta buy from a dealer 90% of the time. Luckily, there's always some dealer that sells cheap parts on line for any given brand. I could have an old perspective on that...
For name brand aftermarket, I shop from reputable sources only.
Unless its for beater racecar. Beater racecar gets whatever I goddamn feel like putting on it. If I want to put ebay log manifolds into some holsets for a foxbody, you can get that done for under a 1k lol.Boycott foodservice industry crew
