    25M 12 week cut Question

Hey guys! I had my first dexa scan today and I was wondering if you think it’s spot on. I’m currently doing a 12 week cut at 1950 calories. I will attach the dexa scan results and my body pic. Before you look at the results, what area % of body fat would you put me at?

It won’t let me posts the pictures, but you can see them @ u/wamsamdamam on reddit

    Lifts ( Max )
    DL: 325lbs
    Squat : 275lbs
    Power Clean and Jerk: 135lbs

I guessed 23% before looking at the DEXA results.

    Was that your question?

Yeah it was! I was a bit startled when I got the 27% body fat results but my goal is to hit 12-15% body fat by December 21 2020.

This is my first time ever cutting tracking calories and I started my 12 week cut at 188.4 lbs. I’m at 183.6 at the end of Week 1. (-4.8lbs)

What weight would have I to be to hit my goal?

i may be wrong, but 27% to 15% takes like 4-6 months

source: went from 27-29% to around 15% in 6 months

If you lost exactly 0 LBM you would need to get down to 161 to be 15%, but it never really works out that way, so you can pretty much bet you'll need to get down to at least 155 (or less) to hit 15%. Probably not something thats going to be achievable by DEC 21st.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.

Probably will need to lose something like 20+ more pounds to get into the what is considered the "lean" range.

So you might want to plan on a "20 week cut" rather than a "12 week cut".
