I would say some employers don't care because there was an IT dude with a degree from the University of Phoenix (expensive & not reputable) at a prior employer.Originally Posted by DoragonKingu

Bonus is that you get certs while pursing the degree. So if you take a networking class you have to pass network plus or ccna to pass the class. You get a degree and about 5-6 certs on top of it.Originally Posted by DoragonKingu

Have you considered going the certification route instead? CompTIA, SANS etc?

Are you trying to get into IT? If so
- focus these two certs: CCNA and sec+
- get a job
- Then do wgu or UMGC
Then find out what area you want to get into
