A good view of hunting on a healthy almost spiritual level is the view of cameron hanes. Hes a bow hunter but also an ultra marathon athelete. The man literally trains marathons so he can go deeper into the woods and be more fit for better hunts. He hunts usually animals that are LARGE but not exotic, so GIANT elk, The largest ones are usually around 7 years old and getting close to being out of mating range, he doesn't kill anything thats like 1-2 years old. He cleans the animal and eats the meat. I find that way better than factory farming which is extremely inhumane. When hunting you want a FAST clean kill on an animal you must outsmart to kill, factory farming is brutal and disgusting, watch the videos man.
I feel like most people view hunting as tree stands and killing anything that comes accross your path. A lot of real hunting you have to hike miles into the woods, then drag hundreds of pounds of meat out of the woods over miles.

Only places wolves are LEGALLY allowed to be hunted is where they have large numbers that need to be kept in check or where they become a nuisance/killing livestock. Lions, I have no idea. I do know that allowing these trophy hunters in to hunt pays for actual protection against the huge amount of poaching that occurs but then again everyone just sees some fat fuk on ******** posing a blows a gasket not knowing the amount they paid and what it actually goes to. Would i do it? No...but sometimes you have to see the bigger picture.

Same deal with people who have a problem with fishing.
I have no problem with hunting.
You realize you are "thinking" with emotion rather than ration and logic? That's the worst possible way to make any kind of viewpoint or decision. And this is exactly why most people don't take women seriously and don't want them in charge of anything.
Phuck your bleeding heart liberal views.

I'm not a liberal you autist, hunting for sport is psychopathic & I didn't realize that is a supposed every conservative person thing. Going from 150k to 20k in 50 years, go do one. Humans have overpopulated, and are making things extinct *******. This isn't just emotion, humans don't need to kill for no reason and fk the ******* farmers as well they overbreed themselves.

I mainly just like being out in the woods. I used to feel absolutely nothing when I shot deer but I've gotten old and soft and kinda feel bad about it now. Still do it anyway cause they are delicious and I could eat deer fry meat and jerky as my only food source the rest of my life
I shoot and doves and turkeys without the slightest twing of regret. They're just birds.
I feel a great sense of joy and accomplishment shooting hogs. They are destructive pieces of chit and I kill every one I see.
As stated earlier factory farming is a trillion times worse than hunting. Vegans are the only ones who can take the moral high ground on that issue and have me take them seriously.
As far as shooting elephants it seems kinda fukd up and personally I couldn't do it. They're too smart and I'd feel like chit about it
Just stop... You obviously have no idea what you're talking about6'2"

^^Exactly. I remember something on a show (maybe Rogan?) that the only way those governments in Africa can afford to fight poachers is through the big game ticket sales. I hate poachers, I have no problem with people who have more money than sense paying to fight poaching.
As to the OP, I lost my thrill for hunting in my late teens, but my son wanted to start hunting a few years ago so I jumped back in. Just white tail deer hunting, but with bow, muzzleloader and rifle/shotguns, depending on the season.
He killed so many deer (legally) a couple of years ago that I couldn't/didn't want to afford the processing fees for meat, so we learned to skin the deer, butcher it and freeze & process it.
We've made jerky, burger, meatballs, sausage and of course tender loin and back strap steaks.
If you eat it, you may change your mind.Hebrews 12: 1,2
