Audi Alteram Partem. This means we must listen to the other side. We did and their reasoning made sense which is why they didn't get harsh sentences.

The Justice System is made in a way that ensures the equality of everyone under the law and some stupid Mob isn't gonna change that. This isn't bum fuark nowhere where we setup Kangaroo courts and people get convicted because the Mob said so. No Knock Warrants were legal prior to Breanna Taylors case and the Law is not Retroactive meaning you can't apply this Ban to those police officers.

Learn a few things about the Justice System before commenting about it. We have sacred principles for a reason and it's to avoid a mob of crazed Marxists and BLM thugs to decide the fate of people.

All these years of education and yet these craptivists have zero clue how the Justice System Works.

Just read that whole painful 50 page Tatum report. There is nothing in there that implicates Breonna with having anything to do with Glover's drug activity. At worst, he still paid her phone bill and lets him send mail to her apartment. I'm sure she knew he was a dealer, she wasn't stupid, but every recorded conversation included in the report repeatedly denies that either she or Kenneth Walker had anything to do with the drug activity.

Where was the fatal shot? Serious question. If her brains are plastered all over the wall it doesn’t make sense to try and save her.

I wonder if they would not have charged the officer had someone in the other apartment died.

The even more serious issue is If a cop is justified in shooting to defend themselves from a threat they perceive, are they then justified in shooting and killing anyone in the area regardless of their relevance to the threat?

imagine someone near you is perceived as a threat by a cop and the cops start firing off shots. You get hit and the excuse for not charging the careless officers is that they had reason to protect themselves. You weren't the threat, so how does that reason work out? Protect themselves from you? It cannot be a blanket permission to kill anyone near the "threat". Soldiers at war likely have more strict engagement rules than this.

Nevermind it makes no sense the actual threat is perfectly fine. The cops left long enough for him to call police. What the hell was that situation?
    Ask the grand jury.

Is this a serious post? If someone’s brains are laying all over the floor. They are DEAD. No amount of CPR or bandages are going to bring her back. Hence my question of where was the fatal shot.
BRB. Show up to a traffic accident where someone was decapitated but still expecting first responders to perform CPR

I think it has to do with her being in a drug dealer's house while police were executing a warrant for her arrest and her boyfriend started shooting at police even after they identified themselves (according to multiple witnesses)

Yeah I know, Im just running with what the OP was saying.

People need to understand that the law isn't retroactive and that no knock warrants have been happening for decades. Breanna Taylor was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time and was killed in the process. There was probable cause that her boyfriend would dispose of the evidence and the cops were right in not knocking and getting in by force. It's sad that she died but I honestly fail to see how this is a racial issue or even a police brutality one. And I don't understand why some miscers are bashing the cops. They did their job and Taylor died in the crossfire. The boyfriend opened fire on the officers without asking who they were. Stupid move on his part. He should be getting the blame and yet he's painted as the victim alongside Taylor. He was smuggling drugs and she willfully chose to date him.

"In Richards, the Court held that there is no blanket exception to the rule whenever officers are executing a search warrant in a felony drug investigation; instead, a case-by-case analysis is required to determine whether no-knock entry is justified under the circumstances."

Think of it this way OP, if a cop was in a shootout and you were in the background and got struck, same situation, you can't charge that cop with murder.

Correct me if I’m wrong. But this boyfriend that you are referring to isn’t the one they were after? They were after her ex-boyfriend right. Idk if I was at home at midnight and someone knocked, idk if it was loud or soft knock and then seconds later the door was blasted open I wouldn’t wait to ask who they were. Its also weird that if the boyfriend was smuggling drugs and shooting police that they would drop the charges against him n

He did shoot at police. The charges were dropped because it was a legal shoot.

How would a drug dealing cop shooting dude be found legal in firing at the police?

His defense woukd be that he thought the house was being broken into. Unless someone testifies that he knew for certain that it was the police then he had a right to fire at intruders.

There's an old saying among prosecutors that you can indict a ham sandwich. The fact that they COULDN'T indict a single officer for murder speaks volumes. The system wasn't broken in this case.

It is however in Kyle Rittenhouses case where the DA jumped to all these charges without a full investigation or a grand jury indictment.

And lool at anyone who says the police have less stringent deadly force guidelines than the military.

So a “drug dealer” who was had his house raided with a warrant fired back at the police and they let him off bc he thought it was intruders?
