It's cool and all with the effects and the spectacle, but to me, it feels a bit disrespectful to revel in fighters getting mauled.
While I have never fought in the ring, I have seen teammates get injured quite bad and I think we should respect those guys more for putting their bodies on the line.
I feel we should have a little bit more empathy with human beings, who get their faces punched in.

i appreciate them it even more now being more mature in life. gaethje, elkins, diego etc. these human beings are anomalies. yeah they entertain us but later there is a very good chance we will see them in a bad shape due to the damages and we will have to live with it. oh well fighting is in our dna, lets see where it goes.
