I've never played a Konami Game before on Xbox, or even ever for that matter (on a console). Never was really interested in the MGS series either, although it gets a lot of hype and probably deservedly so. Seems like the games they make are already tailored for the Playstation anyway, don't see a need to buy them out. The company is worth $3.5 Billion right now and would probably fetch $4 Billion for an acquisition. Sony could probably make more money just buying exclusives, but again it seems like they only release for the PlayStation anyway. If Sony bought any studio though, Konami seems like the most sense. I just fear that once Sony does make an acquisition, then Microsoft will just clap back with another one to outdo Sony. The battle for content is nigh brothers.

"Because the thing about repairing, maintaining, and cleaning is it’s not an adventure. There’s no way to do it so wrong you might die. It’s just work. And the bottom line is, some people are okay going to work, and some people … well, some people would rather die. Each of us gets to choose.”

Nothing wrong with this as they both have incentives to have every acquired studio produce great product.
I'd love to see Sony acquire Konami's video game division or rights to all existing IP related to MGS and Silent Hill. It makes a ton of sense for them with the history and Kojima already on the Sony dik.
