Damn, now both members of the greatest tag team ever are gone. Sad day for wrestling

Road Warrior Animal passes away
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a nonlinear, nonsubjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

Sucks. Road Warriors were the reason i got into wrestling. I was enamored. The spikes and face paint and bad attitudes. They were the best "good bad guys". The Pop. I dont get upset with death much these days but this morning i was pretty bummed about this. just a flood of memories.

RIP. This was my favourite gear and face paint he had. And when I think they were at their peak

I’d have to look through the teams but I think the Warriors of the 1990 Survivor Series are the first full SS team where every member is now deceased

Rip Animal. No doubt he and Hawk were the gttoat.
When fans think tag team wrestling Roadwarriors/LOD is the first one that comes to mind.
I can’t pinpoint their best matches, but everyone knows who they are. Just that’s how over they were. Best look, best promos, best tag team entrance moment from summerslam at wembley.

WTF, Hannibal did an interview with him only a few months back and he seemed fine, still strong-looking.
RIP...and according to which an ensign might rank incomparably higher than a general, and according to which what was needed for success in the service was not effort or work, or courage, or perseverance, but only the knowledge of how to get on with those who can grant rewards, and he was himself often surprised at the rapidity of his success, and at the inability of others to understand these things

Are there any tag teams that are closer to being household names? Non-wrestling fans would clearly recognize them over any of the names that are commonly thrown around among the diehard fans : arn/Tully, Morton/Gibson or Eaton/lane.
You don’t consider their name to be the Tag team equivalent of truly legendary wrestlers who made their names as solo performers like Bruno sammartino, El santo, Antonio iNoki, hulk hogan or Andre the giant?
The closest tag team attraction to them?BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

His so James Lauarnitis lives in my city and does a sports radio show here.
He sometimes tells stories about his dad about his wrestling career which was cool. it's pretty sad to see him pass.†Italian Crew†

Two things in life right now that I'm aiming for: Getting big and very lean, and the other is making lots of money so I can shove it in peoples faces that didn't give me the time.

hart foundation, nasty boys and demolition are jobber status compared to LOD srs. to casuals and to actual fans. to casuals nobody from their era comes close really. to wrestling fans- theyd prolly say rock n roll is on a similar level to LOD re: being over.
hardys, dudleys, E and C are not very near their level, but at least in the conversation when it comes to popularity. hardys moreso than the other two.
