    Day Off

I currently have the following exercise program.

    Day 1:
    - Regular push-ups
    - Abdominal and lower back exercises

    Day 2:
    - (One armed) incline push-ups
    - Decline push-ups
    - Pull ups

    Day 3:
    - Archer push-ups
    - Diamond push-ups

They don't involve much time but I was wondering if it would be better to take a day off periodically to allow the muscles to recover. I understand that I should take a day off is I exercise the same muscles every day but it seems that these exercise different muscles.

    Thanks,

You should do some pushups on your day off.

Then I wouldn't have an off day. :-)

Sad thing is that this probably isn't a troll.
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

I just practice as much as I can with pushups. Might have to take a day off if I add more pressing exercises or something, but otherwise my muscles don't get trained as much with the same type of volume loads.

Thank you for your reply. My current routine seems to be getting results so I will stick with it for now.
