Rae Crowther came out with a new adj bench. I guess they did away with their version of the old Nebula adjustable bench. The thing I like best about this bench is the 17" height.

Varsity Patriot 0-90 Bench with Spotters Stands

The Varsity Patriot 0-90 Bench is a ladder style bench. The benefits of a ladder style are easy adjustments for the athletes and no pop pins to fool with or replace. Standard feature are the 2 large spotters stands. Each area is 18 x 8 inches and made with checkered plate metal. The back and butt pad are firm and covered in durable black vinyl. The back pad has 7 adjustments. The front pad has 3 adjustments. Wheels are standard. A handle is welded to the front of the bench for ease of movement. The Bench includes rubber cleats to stand the bench upright allowing the bench to stow within the rack or out of the way easily. This bench is a great value and it ships assembled. 58” L x 30” W x 17” Pad height to ground. Bench weight is 103 lbs. Back pad is 11” wide. Warranty 5 years on frame. 1 year on padding.

Yikes, looks like an absolute turd. I'll pass and buy the Ethos bench without spotter steps for 1/2 the cost.

Correct me if I'm wrong.... but wouldn't one want the spotter stands a little further back..... seems to me there'd be a lot of tea bagging going on where they are placed.... just sayin.

That explains the premium price. The niche markets are getting pretty crazy these days
