Halo infinite: looks horrible, they didn’t “pick” that art style, they were forced to use it since they want their game to run at 4k6, literally no texture detail.

Ratchet and clank : will run at 4k OR 60 fps

- Games are now showing up as $70 (just lmfao at paying $70 for chit nba game)
- microsoft has no exclusives
- sony doesnt want to do a game pass type of subscription

PS4 pro and Xbox one X already do some titles at 4k60 so wtf is up with their next gen counterparts running at the same resolution specs?



I quarantine they will release another “pro” version of these consoles that can do true 4k60. Going back to beating the dead horse, PC has been able to do 4k60 (1080ti) since it came out back in 2017. The casual joe will see some games run smooth and others run choppy, jimmies will be rustled.


Don’t even get me started on the fact you can’t run gsmes off an external and have to buy their $300 SSDs when games are nowadays averaging 100-150GB

the good thing is the minimum spec is now much higher for games since they don't have to be ports of games designed for 2013 consoles anymore

I'm personally not excited by either machine since I have a top end PC, but it's a pretty good way for povertycels to have the equivalent of a reasonable gaming PC for much cheaper

I just hope more Dev's allow for split dual screen and split screen for their multiplqyer games. nothing holds a candle to the fun that can be had playing let 4 dead 2 with friends and thqts sad. its an 11 yo game.

yeah they will. They're faked on parts rn due to those Chinese bastards. same reason Dr pepper is like 20 cents more run.theyll have a limited run for nov-dec and get more in next year. I think there only prepared for 3m consoles? could be wrong. the resale prices will be insane prior to Xmas.

gaming certainly isnt dying so if both mainstream consoles fail something else has to replace them and I dont see anything out there that can step up.

the price on both is decent enough that they will sell well, preorders already sold out. a lot of people pay more for a phone they only use 2 years than these consoles.

What OP is really saying is that HE might lose interest in video games, I have myself over the years and can only get into it for certain games. But I dont see the industry crashing any time soon.

biggest mistake the industry made was to stop supporting dual/split screen coops, playing video games went from a group activity when you're just drinking some beers with the boys throw up a cod split screen and **** around. now it's become mostly a solo activity (i mean yeah you chat online etc.) but it makes it way less interactive.

TV's are actually big enough now where split screen 4 ways is not the end of the world too, i mean we made it work with 36in tube tvs.
