I would normally respect her, but it's not easy to when someone shows the character she does, she should have never sat on the SCOTUS.

1. When you can no longer do your job as it is designed, you need to retire. The fact that she was hanging on for political purposes makes it worse.
2. No SCOTUS Justice should be as political as she is. I know there is politics in getting in and everyone has their views and opinions, but once on the bench, do your job. She was a far out leftist plant.

Didn’t agree with her “politics” but I certainly didn’t wish death on her. Like her or not, she was an icon.

Having said that, there really needs to be a forced retirement age. The current justices can be grandfathered in but any new ones need to adhere to a retirement age. Should be interesting to see how McConnell handles this. He didn’t want to confirm Obama’s pick in an election year.
