    When I want to get in shape fast, I cut completely the products made with white flour like white bread, pizza, pasta, white rice and replace them with brown rice, bread made with wholemeal flour, and in smaller quantities. If I eat potatoes they will be only boiled or baked, not fried. I increase my intake of complex carbohydrates from all kinds of beans and I also eat more meat and white eggs to compensate for the meals made with simple carbohydrates. I also increase my aerobic training with 10-15 minutes per session. Usually, it's enough for me to cut the fat and not lose any muscle mass.
