Thread: 5 meals per day

    5 meals per day

    Hello I would like advices on what to put in the 5 meals of the day (pre workout breakfast, post workout meal, 3rd meal, 4th meal, 5th meal)

    Bodybuilding level: beginner
    Purpose of the meals: gain muscle

    My daily calorie intake is as follow: 3230 calories, 88g fat, 420g carbs, 180g proteins

    My first meal breakfast pre-workout is as follow:

    100g Oatmeal
    100ml almond milk
    25g Blueberries
    25g Blackberries
    25g Raspberry
    10g Almond
    15g whey
    Total: 533 calories, 15g fat, 66.5g carbs, 29g proteins

    For the second meal, I've thought about protein shake with blueberries blackberries raspberry whey , brown rice with sweet potato and salmon.

    I have no idea about what to include in the 3 other meals

    You can literally eat anything you want.

    Im curious what your lifestyle and training schedule is like. For most people, 3230 for a beginner would only be needed if you're otherwise also quite active.

    Have you tested this calorie amount to ensure it is appropriate for u?

    How much do you weigh? How tall are you? How many calories are you consuming now?

    You've listed a series of "Bro" foods, which is completely fine, as long as you can continue eating that way long term. The key to either gaining muscle or losing fat is consistency.

    Add some chicken, beef, pork, fish or mutton. Add some fruits and vegetables. Drink milk too. Whey is a supplement, not a core food.

    Five smaller meals a day it's very good; you won't feel bloated. Don't bother yourself weighting the blueberries and blackberries and raspberries; they won't make you fat or slim, but they will keep your vitamins and minerals at good levels; one fist of each of them for the entire day it's good enough.

    In the other three meals, you have to include some chicken, pork, beef, egg whites, and maybe one egg yolk; beans are also a very good choice. Just make sure to stay away from anything made with white flower, anything deep-fried or preprocessed. Add maybe in the mix an apple, a pear, a banana, change them daily not to get bored.
