    yeah i completely disagree.

Having an aesthetic physique opens so fukin doors for me, women is only one of those doors. Walking inside any room and knowing everyone is noticing you is something else. No, its not narcissism, its how people react to exceptional physiques.

The key is to not be "that guy". Brb tank tops showing your nipples, shorts almost showing your balls, brb instagram with many shirtless pics, brb look at my physique. Just wear fitted, comfortable clothes and you are golden.

Also, it isnt about being "jacked". Girls dont really give a **** about your arms being 18" or 14". They care about how your arms look in relation to the rest of your body. Pretty much its about your proportions and genetics.

Im 6'0" 182 lbs right now, natty, and i could get to 200 lbs just as lean if i took some capri sun. Would i look bigger and more impressive? Hell yes. Would i be more attractive to chicks? No way. There is a limit, you want to be exceptional, not a freak.

Its tricky but tldr i disagree OP

Mostly because they don't all have families/kids and haven't started rotting yet.

Check back in 10-20 years. If you've maintained that physique you're literally on godmode. Top 1% for age bracket. There is a big difference between just being better then the average guy your age. And being in the top 1% of physical attractiveness for your age.
Yeah but your market also narrows down and shrinks. You can be in the top 1% of 35 year olds, but you're still competing with the top 10% of guys in their 20s when you go for a 20 something year old. If you go for a mid 30s woman, your market is very small and quality has drastically fallen as well.

Now realistically, a top physique will not make you a top 1% lol. There are some extremely good looking guys in their 30s who fall into that percentile.

Read my post again brah, its not about the weight, its about your proportions. I have a 28" waist, small wrists yet very muscular forearms, very broad shoulders and wide clavicles, somehow decent calves, low bf etc.

People dont look at me and say "damn that dude is huge", but again i never claimed that. Just wear clothes that fit

It makes a huge difference to your self-confidence, so will make a huge difference to your everyday life. (So i agree it's not directly your physique that matters)

The difference in confidence when going out at 10%bf compared to how i am now at around 20% is staggering.

OP it's because you don't put your physique to work. I understand we're on a bodybuilding website where people workout for aesthetics and size / strength but if you played sports or practiced martial arts you'd understand the benefits of your physique are much more than just looking good.

Zyzz died at 22 because of his life style and being obsessed about his physique, hardly a good example to counter the op lol. Lifting for general health and athleticism is great, but it can definitely become an addiction chasing an ever bigger and aesthetic physique and the cons can definitely start to outweigh the pros if you’re not careful. Take that as you will.

I think you'd see many more differences if you're someone who went from fat to fit rather than skinny to fit.

Not fully at my goal yet but being a fatass all my life was such a pain. No women are interested, even if you have a great personality, are popular, and can make girls laugh. I know this from experience lol.

There's an awesome thread I read to help me with motivation that contains stories of how people were treated differently after losing weight.

    Bookmarked.

I lived my high school and most of my university life in or around the 200lb mark. Worst was 240 at 5’9.

Respect to anyone who can live through those years and still motivate themselves and self confidence enough to get into shape. It’s not that you’re teased constantly. You just become so self aware, insecure and you feel invisible. If you go from that, to just not fat, you’ll notice a difference. Not just with women.

My college roommate had the exact same stats as Ken-O. Kind of creepy really.

Anyways, his arms had epic proportions - about 16.5” lean, but the caveat was that he had no real bicep peak - his arms were just 16.5” lean, unflexed. So probably similar to someone who had 18” arms flexed.

He was absolutely noticed everywhere he went. It’s about proportions.

OP and many people on this thread have never been fat.

I was fat all of my life except 19-25 years old. When I was fat I did not have one single girl approach me, and I had many girls turn me down and even laugh when I asked them out (I got the typical “ewww no” srs)

When I was 19-25 I gained this massive boost of confidence, I would approach random girls and literally just say “can I get your number?” 9/15 of those turned into dates. I would walk around the street and girls would literally stare at me and some even whistle at me as if I was a prostitute (srs)

I gained lots of weight back and women don’t even realize I exist, when I approach they just see me as that creepy fat guy. Lets be honest, no one is gonna look at an overweight dude and say “dam he’s fine/hot/ etc”

    Cliffs
    - op is ugly
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

-I'd rather live life saying "I failed" than "I could have"

The worst part is still sometimes feeling a little insecure sometimes. You can’t our run or lift being a precious fat guy in your head. Not that my body is impressive compared to the misc, but compliments still sometimes make me uncomfortable.

That's a huge load of bullchit!

Most people who think they are "trained" out side of actually being competitive in fighting sports can't fight to begin with. Hence why they "train" so much yet somehow never have the time for competitive fighting.

Plenty of untrained but naturally tough and aggressive people out there who would destroy these sideline combat experts in a real street fight.

Well done on transformation man. I can relate to those things you say. I still have a lot of the positive stuff to look forward to as I'm on the edge of the overweight/normal category and got about 15lbs to go till I'm really lean, can't wait ha. Although I am noticing some women look at me more when I'm walking around, so it's starting

For me, it was just something deep inside me that made me want to finally change, like a burning desire. Not giving up is probably the best tip I could give someone as it was up and down for a while

Most people just stay overweight their entire lives unfortunately because they find it so hard to lose it, it's why obesity is such an issue.
