Read my post again brah, its not about the weight, its about your proportions. I have a 28" waist, small wrists yet very muscular forearms, very broad shoulders and wide clavicles, somehow decent calves, low bf etc.

Lifting for general health and athleticism is great, but it can definitely become an addiction chasing an ever bigger and aesthetic physique and the cons can definitely start to outweigh the pros if you’re not careful. Respect to anyone who can live through those years and still motivate themselves and self confidence enough to get into shape. It’s not that you’re teased constantly. You just become so self aware, insecure and you feel invisible. If you go from that, to just not fat, you’ll notice a difference. Not just with women.

Having an aesthetic physique opens so fukin doors for me, women is only one of those doors. Walking inside any room and knowing everyone is noticing you is something else. No, its not narcissism, its how people react to exceptional physiques.

The key is to not be "that guy". Brb tank tops showing your nipples, shorts almost showing your balls, brb instagram with many shirtless pics, brb look at my physique. Just wear fitted, comfortable clothes and you are golden.

Also, it isnt about being "jacked". Girls dont really give a **** about your arms being 18" or 14". They care about how your arms look in relation to the rest of your body. Pretty much its about your proportions and genetics.

Im 6'0" 182 lbs right now, natty, and i could get to 200 lbs just as lean if i took some capri sun. Would i look bigger and more impressive? Hell yes. Would i be more attractive to chicks? No way. There is a limit, you want to be exceptional, not a freak.

As you get older and start to establish yourself in the corporate world you quickly realize that no one gives a chit about your zyzz physique. All that matters is that you excel at work and aren't a fat lazy slob of a human being. I've felt healthier and happier once i scaled back lifting to twice a week and focused on cardio. I was fat all of my life except 19-25 years old. When I was fat I did not have one single girl approach me, and I had many girls turn me down and even laugh when I asked them out (I got the typical “ewww no” srs)


When I was 19-25 I gained this massive boost of confidence, I would approach random girls and literally just say “can I get your number?” 9/15 of those turned into dates. I would walk around the street and girls would literally stare at me and some even whistle at me as if I was a prostitute (srs)

I gained lots of weight back and women don’t even realize I exist, when I approach they just see me as that creepy fat guy. Lets be honest, no one is gonna look at an overweight dude and say “dam he’s fine/hot/ etc”

Do it for the health benefits srs. It also makes you a stronger tradie and you’re less sore from work if you lift because your body gets so used to both after awhile.

For me, it was just something deep inside me that made me want to finally change, like a burning desire. Not giving up is probably the best tip I could give someone as it was up and down for a while

Most people just stay overweight their entire lives unfortunately because they find it so hard to lose it, it's why obesity is such an issue.
