    How bad is it to undereat a few days while cutting?

    My cut has been going great, I've lost 17lbs over 3 months.

    Last week I had some personal issues and had no appetite for 3 days, now again today I have almost no appetite.

    I had only 1200 calories today. Am I supposed to force feed myself or is it okay to have lower calorie days?

    Ahhhh someone that gets it. So many threads about too low of calories and you'll have issues. As long as protein and a decent amount of fat you're good to go as long as those caloire don't impact your training and NEAT much, otherwise you're just trading calories.

    People WANT to hear that they need X calories so that they have an excuse to not go lower. Even if that cal amount isn't sustainable at least you'll get a week in here and there that in the big picture will be beneficial to losing as long as the other weeks you're still sticking to a decent deficit.
