I purchased these on the cheap when a guy moving sold off all his weight equipment he apparently had set up for the local HS football team in his large shop. The rack was two hundred, the bar fifty and the plates fifty cents a pound...I kinda went overboard. Anyway the rack has holes for an attachment at the top and I'd also like to get some j-hooks as well. The bar I'm just curious about. I can't seem to get them apart to re-lube as the hex nuts are probably loctited. Thanks!

I want to say that is an old Jesup bar....Body Solid does or did sell the same one, I think. They were nice for what they were--if I recall correctly, the shaft was something like 35mm, it was pretty nice for squats.

Not sure of what kind of rack but that sounds like you got a good deal.
Maybe some liquid wrench on those hex bolts let it soak.
You could probably get a welder that does small jobs to weld j hooks up to your specs.
I use to have a guy and he did several things for me including some J hooks for my power rack.
