    Bloating or gaining fat

Been between a low calorie diet (1500 calories) And food binges For a few months before recently changing into a 2000 calorie diet (5 days so far)

Feel bloated in stomach and very watery

    Male
    183 CM Tall
    80kg
    18% Bf
    Office job
Cardio - Walk 12-15Km per day
    Workout Split 3 day’s a week (Mon/Wed/Friday)

    Diet

    Meal 1 - 67g Nutragrain + 120 calorie lactose free yoghurt + 200ml unsweetened almond milk + 100ml Skim Lactose free coffee (450 cal)

    Meal 2 - 1/3 Turkey mince + 1/3 Rice packet + 2 eggs (425 cal)

    Meal 3 - 1/3 Turkey mince + 1/3 Rice packet + 2 eggs (425 cal)

    Meal 4 - 1/3 Turkey mince + 1/3 Rice packet + 2 eggs (425 cal)

    Meal 5 - Tuna cup (300 cal)

Should I be gaining fat on this diet? Sodium is low also around 1700mg so don’t understand bloating

Congratulations, you are this months winner of the "Worlds Worst Diet".

Please go to the nutrition forum stickies and read them all, and learn how to construct a proper diet. These will get you started:

    https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...hp?t=136691851
    https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...hp?t=173439001
    https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showt...hp?t=129523333

We don't know what your caloric maintenance or your weight is or what your target macros are, and if you haven't posted what your weight has done since you started dieting how would we know if you are gaining fat? And 5 days it not a large enough sample size anyways, but it still doesn't excuse that awful, unsustainable diet.

All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.

Terrible diet, a "split" workout and walking 20,000+ steps per day?

    1. Fix your diet. Learn to eat sustainably at a reasonable calorie level rather than on "torture food" that you will abandon due to being miserable from it in just a few more weeks.

    2. Switch to a total body workout 3-4 times per week with compound lifts that stress the majority of your muscles in every workout if you want to retain lean mass while dieting.

    3. The walking isn't terrible for you however it is taking up 3+ hours of your day in total. If you determined to supplement your calorie deficit with cardio you might want to find a form of it that is more efficient overall.

Way too TOO many eggs. Expect a raise in total cholesterol for this.

Also a diet like this is not practical. there's no flexibility, you just can't stick with it everyday really

So daily you walk over 2 hours? Like 2.5 hours? 7.5-9 miles?? Why are you walking so much? Do you walk 4 miles to work and 4 miles home? How do you have the time lord on days you like 3.5 hours devoted to exercise?

If you’re bloating it’s a lack of fiber with high protein good god where are your veggies? Do you want scurvy, gout? Do you poop?

He's working his way up to become a mix of Forest Gump and a pirate. Once he's running 2 hours a day and has full blown scurvy he will have reached his goal
