Opinions on the 2022 Tucson, Hyundai, KIA, Genesis

I am pretty impressed with the new 2022 Tucson as well as the new products coming out from Hyundai, KIA and Genesis. What do you guys think about Korean vehicles, what has your personal experience been with them? Pros and Cons?

Ordered a Telluride. Probably the best vehicle in its pricepoint class IMO. My dad bought a K900 - it's surprisingly well-built. Kia is gonna run things in the main market segment. Next gen Sedona is going to be a top contender with families - someone finally made a minivan look more like an SUV. Genesis SUV will definitely take a bite out of the luxury market

Still cheap because they haven't been around as others but it seems like they've got everything working good now. Most of them seem to be just as reliable as any other brand these days.

Anyone else check out the 2021 Sorento X-Line? Their vehicles are looking dope especially the N-line and the Genesis ones.

I was gonna say the Telluride and Palisade are probably the best things I've ever seen from Kia and Hyundai.

I'd have to wait on Kia or Hyundai until I forget about the "they catch fire and should be parked outside" warnings on their latest round of recalls.

the problem with new tucsons is they took away the good engine. option. the 1.6l turbo with dual clutch tranny is actually really fun to drive. now you can only get them with the lame 2.4 and regular auto. My current company car is a tucson, i didnt get to choose it but was pleasantly surprised at the powertrain. Interior is pretty spacious, i am 6'5. there is a HUGE sunroof thats basically the entire roof, thats nice. Its not a bad car to drive, handles well ext.
Its good basic transpiration. Nothing upscale about it in anyway. To me its "fine".

I traded in my 2015 Nissan Pro-4x king cab for a 2021 Kia Seltos last week. I've never owned a Kia before but I have to say I'm impressed. I have the absolute base model and it has heated seats, heated mirrors, back up camera, collision detection etc. It's a nice quiet ride and has way more room inside than you'd think from looking at it. Also the warranty is fantastic at 5yr/100Km base, I'll have the vehicle paid off before I have to worry about repairs. The value for your money seems pretty damn fantastic.

I went with the gravity grey for color. It drives great. A nice and quiet ride, pretty comfy inside, steering is super responsive. I also really like the look of this things. Looks way higher end than it actually is imo. I went with the 2.0L. For me it's going to be my daily to work and family hauler on the weekends. It has decent pickup for what it is, but I'll definetly miss that 4.0L V6 on the Frontier some days, I won't miss the gas bills though. The value you get for your money in this thing can't be beat. I priced out a few other small SUVs and KIA won hands down. I'll probably buy a motorcycle next spring to get my kicks though.

Wow just looked up the new Sorentos. They really made a huge improvement with the redesign. The last gen was too much like a minivan.

281hp engine and 3 row seating. Not bad.

The Palisade/Telluride would be on our short list for our next vehicle. My folks bought a 2017 Explorer with a 4 banger to haul grandkids around and they're set to have the tranny replaced. Luckily still under warranty. At least these big Korean SUVs still have a 6 cyl available.

Solid - just got a telly in Wolf Grey (kind of a Nardo grey clone) for the wife.
