Not familiar with it, but looks pretty 1 dimensional. Storyline and cinematic gameplay is what wins awards these days. It’s mostly political rather than pandering to the gameplay tastes of millennials who’ve mostly moved on from gaming

Nowadays no one takes risks on soundtracks, and they're too chickensh!t to LEAD the scene. Old school video games had incredibly memorable soundtracks.

Games were still made to be fun then. You could experiment and do something new. Still had ample amounts of soul in creation. Now every retard is too busy making lowest common denominator, diminishing returns on graphics no one gives a **** about, everything needs to have politics injected into it, just do the same thing as everyone else and make a boring as **** open world game with **** gameplay and a huge world that's basically empty

This...now they have multiple execs and lead engineers all having to put in their personal touch. It’s all pretentious compared to the simplicity of the 90s when studios weren’t billion dollar companies

See it in music all the time. New bands start out raw/real af, then they start making money and have to try and appeal to the whim of the record label trying to put out products that appeal to the lowest common denominator

most games back then sucked dink. i remember having a nintendo and not even being able to beat most the games i had cuz they were too hard. how fun is it when you cant even get past the 3rd level? just lol at old games. they were too povery to have checkpoints back then so if you died after 3 deaths you had to restart the entire game just lol

As for games like GTA and Gran Tourismo well the improvement in graphics and open world game play will just age like fine wine if the developers stick to blueprint
