Yeah, this couldn't be any better of a time for both parties. The Patriots get to save some money and invest it elsewhere, while letting the GOAT walk to another team. Then Brady gets to conceal his aging arm with skill players like Evans, Godwin, Gronk, Howard, Brate, Jones, Fournette, McCoy? Brady's level of play was not meant for the Patriot roster anymore, but kind of fits perfectly with the Buccaneers. Now Cam Newton is a perfect fit for the Patriots since he can extend plays a little more and buy some time a la Russell Wilson, and walked into a chit QB room and just took it over.

Also, kind of a weak ass move to talk chit about the GOAT after he has left your team. I think Brady just expected more out of the team than he was getting. Probably rode the WR's and Lineman into the ground to be better. OR it was the defense talking chit after they were winning a lot of the games for them.
