Pour moi, it's the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack. LOVE it.

Sopranos: Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Amy Lee, Lady Gaga (not her fluff- her good stuff)
Tenors: Bruno Mars, Freddy Mercury, Chris Daughtry, various others
^ Some of my main vocal chord workouts since the closing of my gyms, but I absolutely love practicing!!!! I have improved power, polish and stamina within a 4-5 (?) octave range- up to G5-6 in head voice, currently (I guess I'm not a true alto). Always challenging though.
When your lifestyle is turned upside down during times like these, music is the one hobby that will always be good for the soul!!!! You can't go wrong with it!
For Christmas songs: Ella Fizgerald is fun as hell to sing!!Last edited by etet1919; 12-01-2020 at 05:36 AM. Reason: octaves
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.
Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

For whatever reason, Owl City really motivates me for cardio. Other than that I tend to go for stuff that's got a good beat but that can be kinda tuned out; genre depends on the day. The old Newsboys, Red, Jonah33, Shinedown, Miranda Lambert, Breaking Benjamin, Jason Aldean, Craig Morgan, Nickelback, Lecrae...

Great choice!
For me it changes, but 90% of the time it's either a spoken podcast (Jim Cornette or TDS-Fash The Nation lately) or metal/hard rock.
Recently, Europe/John Norum, Ratt, Judas Priest, Ozzy, Yngwie Malmsteen, Van Halen, Alter Bridge, Pantera (Cowboys from Hell and Vulgar Display only!). Occasionally Testament or Megadeth.

Anything that puts me in a good mood and gives me energy. It can be party music, R&B, 90s to early 2010s rap, heavy metal, pop
