Lol Mike Mentzer went purely based on anecdote and personal experience, he was also blasting a fuk ton of roids, he wasn’t a scientist nor did he base his advice on anything rooted in studies or research.
That being said, he is correct that you don’t need to do 10 sets per muscle and be in the gym for 30 hours a week. Intensity is key.
