If you try cucumber, make sure it's chilled. I think you could also try chilled towel. Sleeping on your back helps with the puffiness. Don't smoke.

The most important thing is the sunscreen. Use it under the eyes too. If you're sensitive like me, use mineral sunscreen so it doesn't burn your eyes. If it leaves a white cast, you can try tinted sunscreen. Cerave has one that I like.

The last two evening steps are for moisturizing. The vaseline locks in the moisture from the Hyaluronic Solution. I'll admit, I'm super lazy with those last two steps, so my skin is probably way drier than it would be otherwise.

Moisturized skin looks better and is healthier.

-Dark undereyes are not necessarily a skin problem. It may be lack of bone in the area, or fat.
-forehead lines: sunscreen, tretinoin for antiaging, and moisturize.
-blackheads may very well be sebaceous filaments and big pores. Can't change pore size. A BHA (like Stridex Max) can help sebaceous filaments though, and give the appearance of smaller pores.

Srsly? Your skin is still irritated? I just got Retin A and have used it twice (Wed night and last night) and no adverse effects yet.

Retin A is the gold standard in skin care. There is no need for redness and peeling. Start slow - once a week for 2 weeks, then twice a week for 2 weeks, etc. You can buffer it with moisturizer. If you are very sensitive, you may want to wait 30 minutes after cleansing before applying. I prefer tret in a cream formulation as I find it gentler than the gel. I don't go too close to my lips, eyes or nose.

Retin A is the long game. It can take a year before you see results. If you want those folds reduced quickly, filler is the way to go.

Peptides are great for building collagen. So many peptide serums out there that don't have to cost a bundle. I microneedle once a week at home (0.3 mm ) and follow up with a peptide serum. Vitamin C (I use in the morning) is good for collagen building too.

If you aren't going to be hyper vigilant about sunscreen, then don't use Retin A - you'll only do more damage. There are so many great sunscreens on the market today - don't have to endure the greasy stuff of years past. I love Neutragena or Australian Gold SPF 50 available in drugstores and not extortionately priced.
Lisa, do you micro needle on an off Retin A night? I've been micro needling about once every week or two for a while now and just got Retin A. I've been wondering how to fit it in around the Retin A. Wasn't sure if I could do both same night or how many days after micro needling I should wait. Also, do you use a roller or the stamp?

I do it at home. I got a kit on Amazon that has a roller for face, one for eye area and one for the rest of your body. I really only use it on my face and neck and occasionally on my chest. What I've done is I wash face, let dry completely, micro needle and then coconut oil immediately after then eye cream and my moisturizer for the night. Skin looks great the next day. I was worried at first that the first day or two after that my skin would be red and irritated but it's not at all.

Also my retina a script is .25.

I am not sure, but probably not. That may take something more intensive (lasers or peels from a dermatologist), if anything at all.

No. It's still telling me it's not avail to ship to me. I keep forgetting to call. I use the Biore Aqua Rich Watery Essence sunscreen and since I started the Retin A I apply it twice a day. Once in morning and once in afternoon. Even if I'm not going outside into sun. I also wear a sun hat when I take my dog out in the afternoon and a visor when I'm driving.

You can email them as well.

The Watery Essence is what I used before. With that, you are still better off than 99% of people who either aren't using any sunscreen, or aren't using something with much UVA protection.

I just switched because it hurt my eyes, made me look a little shiny, and I wanted more UVA protection (even though the la roche may very well be overkill).

Hiya Legz! I got the roller, only 0.3 mm. I wanted it mostly for product penetration. They say those "micro channels" only stay open for about 10 minutes. I roll on Sunday mornings, and am perfectly fine to use tret that night. Some would use longer needles to "damage" the dermis causing the body to produce more collagen. I think if I were going to go that route, I'd have a professional do it.

There's an aesthetician who talks extensively about microneedling rollers and pens, Penn Smith Skincare, and she's done several videos on the topic and collagen induction therapy. She's got gorgeous skin, so I guess she knows what she's on about!

And I've seen some mature women use their rollers on their scalp where the hair is thinning. That's pretty interesting.

I actually use deep needling on my scalp once a week, like bleeding. There are several studies on it for males, as well as some crazy anecdotal results (with pics). We will see how well it works for me.

Thanks for answering Lisa! Mine is .25 I believe. I'm going to use it tonight and then do retin A tomorrow night. I'll have to look her up. Yeah, If I were going to go with longer needles I'd do it professionally. Def don't want to mess my skin up.

Easier to buy generic retin A micro from ADC. Goes by the name supatret for like 9 bucks a tube.

I was worried at first that the first day or two after that my skin would be red and irritated but it's not at all.

Also my retina a script is .25.
    I think you mean 0.025
