    ohp is the only exercise i've never seen a twink do heavy

    every other lift I've seen a skinny guy do impressive numbers.

    ohp = most alpha lift of all time. The only true test of strength

    True, standing strict OHP is pretty much impossible to cheat on. Anyone Ive seen do 225 or above has been either jacked or a huge powelifter. I want to get to 275 eventually, but god damn it is a slow lift to progress on.

    Agreed. We solve this by doing it in the power rack and setting the safeties or j-hooks in front of us.

    Standing OHP is great but puts a lot of pressure on your core. I prefer the stability of doing them seated.

    out of the compound ones idk... i don't get the same thrill like... for bench if u **** up u done son, or squat if u **** up ur done son... deadlift is god mode feeling, but ohp is pretty safe, though i do get the thrill goin down where a chance to hit my head lol. this is talking sets for strength though. i do enjoy repping it out for volume

    form really suffers when you do OHP as a smaller person compared to someone with more mass. Can't really avoid arching back too much just because of leverage of weight to bodyweight. Delts could be strong as fuk but doesn't matter when the weight on the bar is enough to influence your entire body weight as you perform the lift.
    Lifts:
    Squat: 460x1
    Bench: 400x1
    Deadlift: 575x1
    OHP: 250x2
    Weight: 180 lbs.

    Don't have heroes; look up to no one. Because as long as someone's leading the way, the best you'll ever be is second.

    That's why you do them seated for stability. If you're flexible with a lot of mobility it's great.
    I'm 120 lbs at 5ft6, can do the behind neck ohp with stict form, lowering it until it touches the base of my neck before pressing it cleanly up.
