    based on new max 272.5

    Thx Brother, After hitting 282 on Flat Sunday and pushing inclines yesterday this today was a huge huge surprise.. These should definetly push me closer to breaking 300 on my Flat bench .. Slow steady and on track.
    I will have the rest of the videos up in my thread in a few

    Tomorrow I am resting and then Thursday will be legs Allowing me to push those numbers up on Friday

    Benched 225-5 last March ,and that was at 58 years old . If guys are having shoulder issues , it’s because of bad form .
    Worse case scenario you could just use dumbbells for bench press , but I find it gets redundant

    Hey, my phone has issues with threads full of vids, it crashes, so I only check out you journal thread on the laptop. I replied here cause I was using my phone, that's all.

    I use them for incline benching with dumbbells ,as I sometimes have rotator pain getting the heavy ones into position .

    I removed the nylon cover and use them with the remaining thin steel band only . I have zero issues using this way .
    I used hockey tape on them where they rest on the bar though, as it was leaving permanent marks on my new Ohio bars

    Day 3a week 13- deload - 300x1- NEW OVR 60 PR Focus Bench press

    Warmups on Smith machine doubles 145, 195, 215, 220, 225
    Then on to Bench press -
    Bench Program - current 1rm 287.5
    75%=215x2 / 225x1/ 85%=245x1
    267x1/ 277x1 / next Today's Max out attempts ..290x1 next going for 300x?

    90%=270x4 (filmed 3)
    80%=240x5 or 6 (got 5)

    REALLY sad I have to block /ignore so many BUT the great part is if Anyone wants friendship and reaches out to me I will happily unblock them But my history here on bodybuilding.coms forums is a history of most members here hating on me, ignoring me, refusing my attempts reaching out, total lack of support even after I follow them and support them. So my only option has been to Block /Ignore most members.. Again though I always leave it up to YOU reach out your hand in friendship and I will accept it dont and you stay blocked

    Sorry about the haters. I think you are a great example for the rest of us in the over-60 crew: hitting excellent weights with good form, eating smart, training at home, and even lucky enough to have a supportive workout partner. Heck, if I’d have had a chance when I was out west back in October, I would have driven from Albuquerque to Phoenix just to buy you a beer (or whatever).
