Dr. Bacon,
If you’re working out to build muscle and perform at your absolute best, you want your body to spend as much time as possible in ‘grow’ mode. Thing is, exercise typically shifts it into ‘breakdown’ mode. That’s where amino acids come in. To repair proteins and produce new ones—and ultimately boost your ability to pack on muscle—after exercising, your body needs an adequate amount of protein building blocks, molecules called amino acids.
Free form aminos absorb instantly, that steak, chicken or whatever source of protein you're eating doesn't. Facts are factsalienshave.com - Shave Smarter

If you'd just stop pretending like you know when you clearly don't. These threads would not be an issue for the good bros to correct all the bad **** you attempt to spread. But hey, keep selling that product. Is BPI's like so bad that all you can do is push the aminos? I find that hard to believe.

Lucia,
BPI doesn't pay me to push aminos on this forum, I push them because I clearly believe in them just like so many others do
I also post factual evidence to back my claims, you push opinions and studies that were already predicted well before the study was conductedalienshave.com - Shave Smarter

Amino acids help enhance metabolism which promotes cell proliferation and improve exercise performance as well as functional recovery during exercise.
Also, they help perform better by contributing as the energy source and reducing the accumulation of 5-HT (serotonin), the central fatigue substance.alienshave.com - Shave Smarter

Excess aminos can be converted to carbohydrates/glucose to be stored via gluconeogensis. Protein, or aminos, will never be the body's prime energy source in terms of weight lifting. The body isn't going to switch away from ADP/ATP or Glycolytic system even throughout intense weight lifting such as crossfit.
