However, BCAAs are better suited for people who meet their total daily protein needs, while EAAs are best for those who typically fall short.

    Dr. Bacon,

If you’re working out to build muscle and perform at your absolute best, you want your body to spend as much time as possible in ‘grow’ mode. Thing is, exercise typically shifts it into ‘breakdown’ mode. That’s where amino acids come in. To repair proteins and produce new ones—and ultimately boost your ability to pack on muscle—after exercising, your body needs an adequate amount of protein building blocks, molecules called amino acids.

Free form aminos absorb instantly, that steak, chicken or whatever source of protein you're eating doesn't. Facts are facts

If you'd just stop pretending like you know when you clearly don't. These threads would not be an issue for the good bros to correct all the bad **** you attempt to spread. But hey, keep selling that product. Is BPI's like so bad that all you can do is push the aminos? I find that hard to believe.

    Lucia,

BPI doesn't pay me to push aminos on this forum, I push them because I clearly believe in them just like so many others do

I also post factual evidence to back my claims, you push opinions and studies that were already predicted well before the study was conducted

Amino acids help enhance metabolism which promotes cell proliferation and improve exercise performance as well as functional recovery during exercise.
Also, they help perform better by contributing as the energy source and reducing the accumulation of 5-HT (serotonin), the central fatigue substance.

Excess aminos can be converted to carbohydrates/glucose to be stored via gluconeogensis. Protein, or aminos, will never be the body's prime energy source in terms of weight lifting. The body isn't going to switch away from ADP/ATP or Glycolytic system even throughout intense weight lifting such as crossfit.

Any excess protein consumed through diet, in general. Typically anyone who lifts already has a higher than needed protein intake. The widely accepted "1g per pound" is higher than necessary for the vast majority.

So you feel under 1 gram of protein is sufficient for most?

BCAA are awesome, I feel better when i take bcaas during my workout instead of water, i personal like amino energy, it has caffeine and coconut in it, good stuff. Dont believe people that bcaas are worthless, they help believe me.

Yea because caffeine actually does something...anything else is placebo. Science doesn't care about your feelings and science says they do not work.

I'm not hating at all, I'm just stating facts(linked in my first response in this thread in case you're interested in maybe saving some money). You can enjoy taking them, they taste good, you can't have an opinion on an incorrect fact though.

People base it off of their body weight, but it should only be based off of lean body mass not fat mass. People who do not exercise regularly can go off of 0.8g per lb of lean body mass IMO.
