This is exactly why we are always telling newbies not to try maintaining "skinny guy abs" at the cost of never gaining muscle. It's just a fleeting look that you might build up to in order to take that all important instagram post. To get there, you have to stress over sodium and carbs and bloating as if you were actually prepping for a BB competition.

The rest of the time, you look like ^ above.
