Even if you don't use it on your main go-to card it seems like a good option to have just for Amazon purchases. No annual fees, you get a $70 gift card, and you can earn bonus points

I have the Chase one for personal and the Amex one for business. I only use them both for Amazon, so I don’t even carry them around. Easy 5% cash back.
Don’t use the points you get towards a purchase though, buy the product and then take the cash back through Chase’s website. If you use the points towards a purchase you never get the 5% cash back for it.

Didn't know this, good advice
If you have the $100k to earn preferred rewards (you can invest it in stocks and get a free $900 too), Bank of America has the best rewards credit card on the market right now. 5.25% cash back on gas, 3.5% on groceries, 1.75% on everything and zero fees at any ATM.
I also use the Amazon card for 5% off their website, and a Discover card that randomly runs 5% on things (PayPal is a nice one to earn 5% on, for example)

Check your emails...
Latest offer is 4% on everything through February 2021 while keeping your normal 5% on Amazon and Whole Foods.
I got a few reminders I believe but it looks like August 11th was first day I got it.
Edit: have to activate by September 22nd and can only activate through email I guess.

off topic but just el oh el at the Chase Sapphire Preferred "offers". Downright impoverished "deals" to the point of almost being offensive.
With AmEx Gold you get all kinds of cool useful deals for Uniqlo, Levi's, Bloomingdales, Bestbuy, etc.
The current offers Chase just emailed me are: 10% back @ Groupon, Audible, and Converse. and earn 75$ back with ADT security. Why do i even have this fuking card?America Is Great Again

Yeah Chase...they're my least favorite rewards cards. I just got the United card for the 60k bonus. Pts transfer 1:1, but the flight for 15k pts on Chase portal is 45k on the United portal. I called both companies multiple times, they either hung up or said there is nothing wrong with that. Told United rep I hope they go bankrupt.
Capital One Venture (2% back) and Costco (1-4% cash back) are by far my favorite cards. Nothing beats cash back for me.★★★ A State of Trance Crew ★★★

lolol is it only the reserve members that get the free food on doordash? That shyt sorta makes up for getting hosed on the lack of priority pass usefulness. I'd cancel the card but told them I'm not paying for it after this bogus year so they canceled my fee.
Also, the Amex plat gives back $5 every $10 you spend at a small business so that's nice. They significantly lowered the costs on the yearly fee on that one too so I kept that too even though I really only got it for the initial bonus.Fitness connoisseur

Amazon prime card is super juicy for amazon, whole foods, and gas. My wife uses it for all our grocery, amazon, gas expenses. Its 5% back on all amazon, 5% back at Whole foods + another 5% if you have the prime membership (10% total). And it's 3% back at for gas. It's a great card. We use it for every day stuff, then we use American Express for travel stuff.
