Was driving today and honked at a person who didn't move at the green light after 2 seconds. She drove slow as fk getting onto the highway and kept trying to brake check me.
Drove past her once on the highway finally, saw it was an obese white haired Lebowski. Couldn't even turn in his seat to flick me off, them NJ plates.
Wish I can just drive a tank

I wouldn’t tailgate no matter how slow they are going. The only thing that will do is escalate the situation.
What would I do?
Well first I would get past them when the opportunity arises, and then..... I would continue with my day. Problem solved.
I mean, what else is there to do? You gonna fight someone? You gonna yell real loud and flip them off? How does that help you achieve your goals? You gonna let it bother you for days on end?
The entire interaction is irrelevant and should be treated as such.
Edit: I have been known to blow kisses at people who get road rage with me. That is fun.I only read thread titles and my own posts.

I try to exercise a little patience. Honking after 2 seconds seems a bit premature to me. If someone wants to pass me, I move over and let them. I’m just going from A to B, usually with my kids. Not interested in stressing out or measuring dicks. It’s not going to change anything and raging isn’t going to improve your day any
Here's to swimmin' with bow-legged women.

-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

I think my behavior is the result of being a manlet, not the other way around.
What am I gonna do, waddle up to some normal sized dude with my face at his belly button and try to establish dominance? Nah. But I have to act like there are real reasons to not engage in such behavior lest I appear to be a puss of some sort. Napoleon complex or something.
I do have a loud ass air horn on my Jeep, which is pretty fun sometimesI only read thread titles and my own posts.

Two legit seconds is a long time stopped at a green light. It wasn't like I layed on the horn, I tapped it so it made that light beep if you know what I'm saying.
Guy was clearly deranged, I kept my distance and was stuck behind him because we were both going to get on the highway on the right lane in half a mile.
When I used to live in the city it was a lot worse, and I was always afraid of having a gun pulled on me.

Take her easy while driving. Try not to get offended. It's a waste of time and energy. If someone does something dumb, suck it up, accept it, and let it go immediately. Don't hold on to anger all day then post about it on a forum like this.

I agree with the perceived amount of time at a light. Honking your horn like that is just a form of communication and shouldn’t be taken personal at all. Some people do though.
Do you think he did it on purpose, because you honked your horn?
I could see someone doing that. Whenever someone does something to me I think about a couple things.
1. It isn’t personal. They don’t know me at all so how could it be aimed at me as an individual? They didn’t do it “to” me, necessarily.
2. It is done with and nothing further needs to be done to address it.
3. This dude or chick has little kids at home. They have families with loved ones, goals, feelings, they are going to experience the extreme grief of losing a loved one, and even they themselves will die one day in the not too distant future.
It is pretty hard to be upset with someone over something so trivial when you empathize with them as a person.
(STRONG no pacifist, point three only counts if points 1 and 2 already exist)I only read thread titles and my own posts.

One of my biggest pet peeves are slow people. Always sitting at green lights on their damn phones for 10 extra secs or not going until the last sec making me wait another cycle of lights.
Don’t tailgate anyone though, it’s just not worth it.
Story time: when I was around 19 I had terrible road rage. It’s raining hard one day and this idiot in The lane next to me merged over on me (had no idea I was there), causing me to go into the opposite lane of oncoming traffic and came REALLY close to a head on collision with a huge truck that swerved the opposite way I swerved thank god. Well it pissed me off so bad I followed the guy to fight him.
Keep in mind it’s raining hard so I couldn’t tell who’s in the car. So I follow this man all the way to his house. I pull up right behind him as he parked his car and as I’m getting out basically foaming at the mouth ready to beat his ass, out comes a walker and this tiny 80ish year old man who still had no idea what had even happened got out. He obviously didn’t need to be driving, but I went back to my car feeling like an idiot and decided I’d learn to control my road rage. This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

Lol tailgating is literally never valid and very unsafe and immature. If you want to pass there are ways to communicate safely, tailgating not being one of them. It’s like tailgaters think the other cars can’t see them unless they’re 10 feet behind them at 80mph. The best is when there’s a long chain of cars starting say a normal 3 second stop ahead of a car and someone tailgates ... can you see more than 100 feet ahead of you ...

Some young punk came into my lane at the last second causing me to break hard or slam into him.
I honked and flipped him off when we stopped at the red light. (I was behind him) He flipped me off back.
Light turns green and we proceed through the intersection and as soon as we cross it, he slams on his break.
I was tailgating and slammed into him.
His car is fine, mine had damage. Stupid ass punk cost me $1000.
Ultimately I couldn't prove to insurance that he break checked me hard, so I had to pay to fix it

1. I never honk at someone directly in front of me unless it's to alert them to avoid an accident. Honking will only make them angry and make them do stupid chit.
2. If they try to brake check me for some reason I back off drastically. I never ride ass though. So i honestly can't say it has ever happened to me.
Now I have had someone ride my bumper. I usually just take my foot off the gas, turn on my emergency lights and pretend like my car is breaking down. They will zoom around and I'll go back to driving like normal.[Dallas Cowboys][Dallas Mavericks][Texas Rangers][TCU*NCAA][DFW Crew]
