In regards to those fouls, they have 3 athletic freaks who are nearly 7'0.. they literally cannot handle Dwight and the speed of LeBron has created problems
AD has been annoying with the free throws tho
Honestly once Jokic and Murray sat, LeBron went back to trying to get others involved and they weren't capitalizing

Yeah, he made some nice passes. But personally I like Millsap clowning him off the dribble though. I also like the Nuggets bench let them hang around while their best players chill on the bench with foul trouble.
Yeah, I’m glad I didn’t break my tv on the Jokic’s 3rd bs foul call. And apparently it’s impossible for Lebron to ever commit a charge in the eyes these refs.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

The Lakers have the luxury of not caring if Howard or Javale foul out. Howard was literally just pestering Jokic when he was running through the lane every time. The second time Dwight Howard initiated contact with Jokic (you can’t do that) the refs just called the foul on Jokic.

Yeah, it should have been because it’s against the rules to lower your shoulder into someone even if you’re Lebron James.
Yeah, almost as much as AD and Lebron. You’re Rondo stanning is getting a little weird, dude.
The best part of the game. His shooting stroke is so nice. If he could just add a good 30 lbs we could really have some fun.
The Clippers blew the Nuggets out in game one too. Skip Bayless tweeted out Clippers in 3 after that game.
But the Nuggets are still a young team. They learn and get better. Plus, Jokic likes to use game ones to feel other teams out and see how they’re going to defend him and then adjusts accordingly.
Anyway...
I thought it was disappointing but interesting. I think Javale is probably not a smart enough basketball player to defend Jokic. Three fouls in four minutes or whatever was rough. Dwight Howard’s mission was to pester Jokic and the officials rewarded him with garbage calls.
Howard hits Jokic in the head tangles arms with Jokic, Jokic is called for removing Howard’s arm.

When the Nuggets made shots the Lakers were sprinting down the court and beating them back, I think they can improve on not getting flat footed.
If the Lakers are going to go with Howard and AD I wonder if Malone will counter with Plumlee and Jokic. Especially, if Millsap isn’t doing very much on offense anyway. I think he’d be a better defender on AD because he’s bigger and more athletic than Millsap. He could also rough up AD a little bit like they’re doing to Jokic.
But if the Nuggets role players don’t make shots it doesn’t matter what they do. How do you miss the shot after this pass?

Hopefully, they can get some hot shooting going. And hopefully Scott Foster and Tony Brothers never officiate another game in this series.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

Rondo has a higher basketball IQ than Jokic. You claimed that after lebron and AD the next 6 best players belong to the Nuggets which is wildly incorrect. Your location says it all and that's cool. I don't blame you for being a homer. Suck yourself out of your brain and body as a neutral and read your posts. You'll find yourself coping.

If you covered up your Rajon Rondo poster so you could think clearly you’d understand that Jokic is the best player on his team while Rondo is a role player with two top 5 players. You’re crowing that good things happen when he passes to them or it makes things easier. Rondo is a good role player on a super team but he’s not capable of carrying a team as the best player.
Despite being a subpar athlete in a league of super athletes, Jokic is the best player on his team and has led them to being a 2 seed and a 3 seed, his teams have already won more playoff series than Carmelo Anthony did in his entire tenure in Denver. And they just upset a heavily favored team to get to the WCF. Jokic being the best player means he sees different coverages, is frequently doubled or shaded towards and a focus of game plans. Rondo is not the focus because teams are focused on the elite players.
Jokic has been able to do that despite his athletic limitations because of skill and basketball IQ.
Rondo is a good point guard especially with elite talent but he’s not ****ing Magic Johnson.
And the Nuggets made it to the WCF without their starting 3 man who is their second or third leading scorer (and third best defender according to some metrics). They’re a deep team whose role players have stepped up when needed.
They didn’t tonight though. The Lakers role players played better tonight because they hit their shots and the Nuggets didn’t.Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. -C.S. Lewis

Both teams played good. Rondo was excellent, Kuz was very efficient, Dwight Howard time traveled back to 2010 being a powerhouse on defense and LeBron and AD did what you would expect from them. Jocic looked unguardable at times while Murray was drilling tough shots. The Nuggets supporting cast outside of MPJ had good games as well. The spanking came because Scott Foster and Tony Brothers both reffed the game and put Jocic, Murray and Milsap all on the bench with 3 fouls halfway through the 2nd quarter. It's not an excuse because with the way the Lakers were playing the were gonna win it anyway but what would have been great game to watch got stolen from all the fans by chitting officiating.
Friendly reminder that between October 2006 and April 2007 Scott Foster and Tim Dounagy shared 137 phone calls. I don't call my wife, mother and father that many times in a 6 month period combined. The only reason he hasn't been fired is because that would kill the Dounagy acted alone narrative that the NBA has been so adamant on pushing6'2"

What were you watching if you think the refs called a super lopsided game? The physical play of Howard disrupted Jokic and he committed dumb fouls and so did Murray. They attacked both and the Nuggets are a young tram who are already foul happy
Hell they even let Jokic get away with 2 fouls (one on a rebound, and another where he hooked Caruso) but looked the other way cause he had 4 fouls already
Maybe 1 foul on Jokic was questionable and 50/50 the rest were legit AND he got away with 2 before running into AD on that 3 point shot for his 5th

Both of the 2nd quarter offensive fouls were bullchit calls. The game was extremely physical at that point. You could technically call what he did fouls but if you do that then Dwight would have gotten away with 6 before halftime. I'm not saying that Dwight should have been called since I like physical games but if you aren't gonna call him you can't call Jocic either. Jocic did get away the Caruso hook which should have been called but I remember the rebound play when the announcers say he got away with one but all I saw were 2 guys going hard after the ball. I say let em play. What pissed me off about the Murray calls was Danny Green getting away with push screens on the other end. LeBron is gonna get his calls and anyone who even tries to take a charge against him is retarded but when Danny Green is getting more favorable treatment by the refs that Jocic and Murray its a problem. No point in trying to load the deck since a physical series would greatly benefit the Lakers. I just wanna see fairly called close games when both teams are playing well.
