Yep. Also that image is just ETH to ETH fees, it doesn't take into account that the fees are even more higher if you are using a DEX or DEFI platform. I got a $56 fee recently for an average speed transaction when I wanted to make a swap.
ETH 2.0 is years away. Layer 2 solutions like Polygon (MATIC) can only do so much. Even if ETH 2.0 rolled out next Tuesday, a very small percentage of the population uses DEFI and NFT platforms, if we truly onboard the world then the fees would climb again because there are a finite amount of transactions in a block.
BNB and BSC exploding in popularity shows that the market is looking for solutions. Cardano began it's massive pump after people realized that the high gas fees aren't going away.

Since you forgot you even had the xrp, i honestly wouldn't even touch it. Coinbase suspended trading for XRP when the SEC bullschit came out and sent the price crashing to .18.
By the time this is all said and done, and coinbase activates XRP trading again that 5000 stack will be worth at least $10,000
vpn on binance.
Edit: it's all cute and dandy that we bounced off 45,500 but i wonder how long it is before we get out above 50k again. Kinda seems like that wants to be the new ceiling.Last edited by W1LLW; 02-23-2021 at 05:45 AM.

"Resolved"
Edit:
So Tether can't operate in NY as a part of their agreement. Convenient how Tether left that out of their statement posted at the top of the page. I don't know all of the implications of this but one possible outcome is seeing a flood of tether back INTO the market after a brief period of FUD. Also makes sense with the dump this week. Big players likely knew this outcome ahead of time and took out profits before everybody else did.Last edited by jamalfudge; 02-23-2021 at 07:09 AM.

Chased KSM at 255 like a cuck so i got stopped out of my sell trigger. GRT and XRP holding my portfolio strong though. The other third of my portfolio is in Tether now.
Funnily enough, despite fumbling entries this morning, my portfolio is up 1k from last night. Planning an exit for GRT and XRP here now though to get a better buy in price later today/this week.

Looks like they're trying to blame the payment processor for holding a billion dollars hostage. I'm not entirely sure why the NYAG has any type of jurisdiction to sue tether in the first place. Tether isn't even an American entity.
The lawsuit apparently states tether admits to no wrongdoing, but then the NYAG is saying otherwise. No one will ever really know. This being resolved and transparency going forward is bullish tho.

One big concern this time is how fast bitcoin has gotten the public attention after breaching all time highs.
The 2017 run was relatively quiet till 10k.
Imo from here if price continues to rise exponentially - it could something fundamental has changed with bitcoin with mass public adoption under progress and the manipulators no longer have as much influence over the price movements and it would be up only. big market players like Arthur hayes have been driving bitcoin movements for the last few years, has this trend changed in 2021? we don't know.
There's a chance this rally might not be as glorious as the one we got in 2017..we are all hoping for a rally like the one we got in 2017..whether we get the same movements no one knows.
stonks are influencing btc movements - as long as stonks go up, btc will do the same imo. not seeing any major weakness with stonks price movement atm.
