Andre says that because he is on record saying he doesnt like dealing with the fallout associated with token price fluctuations - he doesn't want the stress. The token at that time also wasn't entitled to fees on yield. That doesn't mean the token is worthless currently if it is earning interest (it will when the treasury is capped). Those defi coins are mostly hype, and not world changing projects.
