Something is brewing for Sushiswap.

SBF and Defiance Capital have taken significant positions ($12m and $2m respectively) in it 1-2 days ago in the leadup to 17 November.

What happens on 17 November? Uniswap incentivised liquidity mining ends; Uniswap team and the recent community governance call indicate incentives will be discontinued. There is currently $2.1b locked up in Uniswap liquidity mining and my bet is that when this ends, Sushi announces its own liquidity minning pools (WBTC/ETH) to capture the liquidity flight.

There is also a bug with SushiBar currently that allows people to insta-stake/remove to claim rewards. My 2nd bet is that the Sushi devs announces a minimum intraday vesting period for rewards eligibility. This means better yields for LPs.

Risky as hell but there is enough here that I've made a reasonably sized bet. Remember SBF is the ultimate profit seeking autist and has on-going 'dealings' with 0x_Maki as a Sushi mult-sig signee.

Yeah I don't do too many short term trades. It's usually one or two major ones each year. The focus is more on preserving my stack than growing it unless it comes to a major macro movement.

This is likely to result in the same parabolic growth that we saw in 2017. When this growth happens, people liquidate their alts to ride the BTC train - a liquidity black hole if you will where BTC rises and all else tanks.

There are so many narratives aligning for the king with the major one being the new institutional interest (Grayscale, DBS bank, Square, MicroStrategy, Druckenmiller etc).

Once BTC has topped, I expect some money to flow into alts but this will be very difficult to time.

It appears most altcoins are up this week. No one can predict this stuff, but i'm expecting bitcoin to run up to 20k. Major news reports and FOMO should kick in around $18,000 or $19,000 for BTC. That's when we'll really start to see ALTs bleed.

I can't tell if BTC is gonna hit 20k then correct down 16k, or skyrocket up more, but i'm leaning toward a strong correction as people pull profits at 20k.
