    Eating at maintanance

Does eating to maintain your weight make you leaner? say for instance i was bulking on 3000 calories a day and then it got to the point where if i wanted to gain more muscle id have to up the calorie intake. But instead of upping the calories i ate the same 3000 cals and continued training would i get leaner?

If you'd continue to get stronger in the medium rep ranges then yes, you'd get leaner.

This. I’ve done as much but you’ll level off past a point & start needing to gain weight to get more muscle or lose weight to get leaner. The less advanced you are & the more body fat you have, the further you can milk maintenance.

Can Trained Individuals Build Muscle and Lose Fat at the Same Time?

Although many suggest that this only occurs in untrained/novice and overweight/obese populations, there is a substantial amount of literature demonstrating this body recomposition phenomenon in resistance-trained individuals.
