I lost the sub to one of the big discussion threads for miscers with aquariums Fresh and salt.
I got ONE left. A 125 with 2 angelfish and 6 Serpae tetras.
Any suggestions for what else to add?
I’m considering rainbowfish and/or more angelfish next. Am also considering Angelicus loaches.

I had Africans. Mbuna....thought it was going to be awesome. It was boring as fukk.
Do not reccomend. I took the tank down and plan on going reef next.
OP. Get a bunch more angels, and then get a huge school of Corydoras, big school of Galaxy rasboras, a few little gobies.
I had one of these gobies in my last tank before the Mbuna and it was my favorite fish.

It’s a pretty big tank so plenty of room, but no. And I seen angels can even school in a large enough tank.
Not the angels commonly at pet stores. I want Peruvian Altum Angelfish. Ones that get large as discus.
Might just pull the plug and order 6.
I had a 75 with African cichlids before. They are beautiful Mbunas in rock scaped setups. But I don’t want an aggressive tank .BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

This WAS my 75 cichlid tank. Nothing special to some but I was going for aesthetic
And you’re right.
Rainbowfish and loaches May be out of angels are going to be my centerpiece fish
But you think for aesthetics I’d need A species only tank with like rummies cardinal s?BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

Yeah morr angels. And add more tetras to the group if u staying SA theme. I currently keep wild altum angels and some geo****us sveni. Prob should add a school of bottom feeders like corydoras for a clean up crew. I prefer a group or single show piece for the focal point. Then some smaller dither fish to compliment the show fish. And fish that schools in group makes the tank so much aesthetic then a bunch of fish swimming all over the place. Rummynose tetras is the goat schooling fish in my opinion
