Yeah i feel like i'm from a different planet these days. Been this way since 2014-2015. All anyone talks about is weird stuff now or netflix/restaurants. I've been trying to be more social lately but it's hard when this is all people talk about. I'm convinced staring into screen portals too long can give us short term brain damage and disconnect us from reality. I've never looked at screen portals as much as I do now though. I dont go outside nearly as much either.

Doesn't matter how you look, if you aren't social it's over for you. People know instantly if you don't laugh at their joke or know how to tell stories that you are a quiet guy, they don't take you serious. I notice that normies always gravitate to the most social person in social settings. Social people's opinions are of higher value. You get no attention irl if you are a quiet dude.

I pretty much only meet gays, druggies or people with large tattoos now days. I used to meet people easily before 2014. We would just start talking about Mustangs, sports, ps3 games, religion and stuff like that but it doesn't happen anymore.

Everyone on their phones or staying to themselves during the day time
Nobody outside playing basketball or anything

I wouldn't say I'm a Chad (strong 7/10 punchable face) but I have been "popular" at uni (play rugby for us etc.) and some of my mates are that guy on campus everyone knows.

I also have an introverted nerdy side though so I used to go to house parties and I'd cringe if I was the centre of attention lmfao. People expect you to act a certain way nom sayin?

I have been working in front of a computer screen for 5 + years now, and it's true. Sometimes, I legit feel disconnected from reality, and almost get a sort of "out of body experience", for example if I sit and talk with the family. I suddenly ask myself "so these are my parents", "so this is John", "how well do I really know Finn?", etc. It's weird as a hell, and I blame the computer screen and work. Can't wait to quit and do something else. It has also caused damage to my short term memory for sure due to the tasks I do while working, not requiring any sort of long term memory use

At my university the custom was to wait until a woman decided to have her first relationship, then folks would ridicule her mercilessly to support the male. I watched this happen time and again. The college men would select one female and make it a campus wide project to tell her that her vagina smelled due to sex, and that she was disgusting and immoral etc. It was hard to watch men deliberately gang up and intimidate a female who was already getting mogged by her boyfriend, but the fraternity atmosphere seemed to bring out the worst in folks. Incredibly nasty behavior. One girl tried to kill herself with a gun. Her life was spared, but a bullet to the brain changes one. I don't know why people want to be so unkind. I never had friends at my university, so for me it was just more haters. I did fear for my safety though. Being the center of attention in a pit of vipers isn't as fun as it sounds.
