Is this cable attachment for squats or bench press or neither?

it came with the bodymax CF820 Cable crossover machine that I bought but I'm not sure what exercises it is actually for? if anyone has one of these could they let me know what they use it for? I have attached images so you can see the attachment I am referrin to.

Any help on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks you.

    cable crossover or functional trainer?

Can be used for anything from pushing to pulling to squatting on a functional trainer.
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Here's a picture of the bar attached: https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTAyNFg3Njg=/z/Sr8AAOSwpBpdL3av/$_86.JPG

you can do squats, deadlifts, bench press, lat pull downs, curls, tricep presses, bent over barbell rows, pullovers, possibly even woodchoppers, etc.

Ok thanks for letting me know, tempted by bench press but the only think with that is you have to make sure that the stack doesn't come back down and rest of the remaining weights as that would take the pressure out of the lift as opposed to performing bench bench with traditional bar and bench where obviously you don't have the choice if you see what I mean?
