I enjoyed it. Up there with Akira when it comes to top anime movies. Akira is more my style though.

You should read the one piece manga instead. So much filler in the anime. And only gets worse past ep 500, still some great scenes they just drag them out in the anime. Have been reading one piece weekly since 2003 lol HxH anime is really good though.Originally Posted by Muzzlrpress

I didn't like it because the animations and details weren't nuanced enough.
The world building was uninteresting.
The characters were basic.
It didn't make me feel any emotions.

Great movie. Better than Totoro even, don't @ me. Got credit for my film class way back in college for watching it, was a welcome relief after all the Bergman and chit. I enjoy the films of Bergman but not the sort of thing I'd watch for fun.
