Any idea when Powertec Leverage Machine will be available?

Just like all the Dumbbells, the machine is not available. I gave Powertec a call but they are not accepting. Also, they never responded to my email enquiring about the product. Just wondering if anyone on here has any connections and could give me some insight.

I thought you were getting a Bowflex? It's clearly a better solution - much easier on the joints. I'm sure they are readily available on the used market.

Maybe if I can get one cheap, but I want to order from Powertec. But they don’t seem to be available.

Sadly, it's a bad time to be in the market for gym equipment. Be patient and stick to your decision, the Powertec (or Body-Solid) will be infinitely better than Bowflex. Trust me, I have owned them all

I'm looking at it right now. It's asking if you wanna add 319 for the Lat Pulldown accessory. Is that not included? I was always under the impression that the lat pulldown was included because it's in every single picture.

I hear you. I was wondering if the lat pulldown tower was supposed to be included with the PowerTec Leverage machine. Fitness Zone says add for an additonal $319.

I was under the impression they didn't sell the leverage lat pulldown anymore except as part of the multisystem. Are you referring to the plate loaded lat pulldown with a pulley?

I see them on the used market every so often.

I have officially ordered the Powertec Leverage Gym. Got the black color. Not sure why most people get the yellow, but maybe it's their trademark. Fitness Zone was able to answer my questions.

I will. It will be in a month or so. I chose it over the Bowflex. Ironically I’m visiting a buddy tonight and he has a Bowflex. I’m gonna try it out just so I know how it really is.

Good choice! Assuming it's the newer model being sold, I think you'll be getting the stainless steel weight horns and removable storage pegs as well as multiple added adjustment points for the lever arm(s).

Picked up some free weights off of craigslist. They are olympic plates and they have the grips like you suggested. But as expensive as it was here in SF, that's the cheapest I can find. It was 180 pounds, about $420. There's nothing I can find cheaper, as most weight plates are 3 to 4 dollars a pound.

Random thought, but if I had the choice between a yellow machine and a black machine, I would pick yellow. Way more serious feeling, like a construction zone.

It's tough out there for plates, people just need to keep checking the typical stores. There is a Dick's Sporting Goods about 40-45min from me that has a 300lb Fitness Gear set for $245. I'd go pick it up myself and flip it but I'm getting lazy these days, someone else will snag it I'm sure and sell for $500-$600.
