Got a pair of aukey gaming headphones for $17. Sound quality and mic is pretty amazing. I use a yeti blue for a while but I have an air filter, dehumidifier in the same room and my central ac is in the to next to my PC so it picks up alot even tweaking sound gating and directional sound. Moving soon so will set it back up when those are no longer issues

these?
Sennheiser GSP 670 does look pretty nice and I've been a huge fan of the sound quality in the past. Idk though if it's worth. Is the HyperX sound quality pretty decent? I had steelseries back in 2014 and it was perfect for CSGO (mostly play tarkov and path of exile nowadays).

I have a pair of Sony MDR-7506s for headphones. Mostly got them for playing music, but they end up used for gaming too. I wanted something cheaper than $100 and with no phucking bass boost, and the Sonys fit the bill.
The only problem I have with them is that they have the coiled cord like the old telephones, that pulls on your head when it stretches too far. Ended up costing me another $10 to get a 3.5mm jacked drop cord to extend their reach a bit, but it's been fine ever since. The cord packs up in the carrying bag along with everything else, which is nice when I have to move.
I use my built in laptop mike, don't really do a lot of teamchat in games. For the last year I've played Call of Duty, where voice chat is only good for telling someone else in the lobby that you phucked their mom last night, and in Overwatch I dropped competitive mode like a bad habit. Way too toxic.FA Crew

Hyper X Cloud IIs have lasted a few years for me. So far, the best I've owned.
Paired with an Astro Mixamp TR, I can adjust the Game/Chat audio like a boss when on Xbox. I also use them with the standard USB adapter when playing on my PC, and again, great results. Not wireless, but no charging or performance issues. Will spend $100 on another pair in a heartbeat.

Steel Series Arctis 7 wireless; great sounds, decent enough mic, and long batter life. Comfortable too for long usage.

I have Hyper X Cloud II's & Arctic 7's. I usually use the Cloud II's as I use a strikepack on my PS4, which requires the headset to be plugged directly into it. I can't do with the Arctic's as they are usb only, but they're a nice headset too. I prefer the Arctics but for the price difference they aren't that much better, certainly not worth the difference imo.

sennheiser hd 599 is a pretty aesthetic headset but it has no mic. i just ordered sennheiser pc37x (some massdrop collab) because it's an aesthetic low profile gaming headset with a mic
current headset is steelseries arctis 5, been using these for nearly 3 years (like thousands of hours) but the mic is chit and it's time to upgrade anyway
edit: just found out that "headset" means that it has a mic. sennheiser hd 599 are HEADPHONESLast edited by faithbrah; 08-11-2020 at 11:51 AM.

Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Headset

I bought a brand new worn-once by my friend for $50 bucks. He said they were terrible and told me I could buy them for cheap. Turns out you need to update them right away, and after I did so it was perfect. They are comfortable and the big thing for me is that there are no wires. I had a pair of wired headphones and I'd rip them out all the time by getting caught on things and it would break the audio jack on my controller.
With these headsets, they don't get as loud as the OG 360 headsets, but loud enough where you can't really damage your hearing. On the 360 version you could crank them up the point where your ears could bleed. This one has a set limit on the volume, and then it has "super human hearing" which just amplifies everything to hear a little better, albeit a little funky.
There's definitely better out there, but for the price I got them for you can't really beat it. I really need my headsets to be wireless because I'll damage the crap out of them otherwise.*Mechanical Engineering Crew*
