Never bought a skin so it’s been free entertainment. Thought about buying a skin just cause I feel bad. Then I saw 25 bucks for just a skin and noped out. Rather buy a ps4 game with money

The Ultimate Team modes are such cash cows and it's a shame the devs only focus on that and ignore other aspects of the game that longtime players want to see (IE Franchise mode). Once you've played Ultimate Team once or twice it's just the same thing every year. I played a lot in Madden 12 and 13, stopped for a while, played again in Madden 19, now I'm done with it again. Once gave a guy a $50 xbox live code for three players I really wanted in MUT 12, other than that I spent nothing on it.

When I played MUT 19 a year ago, you could make decent in game money just doing the solo battles, but eventually that got too grindy. They've also changed the way they rate and release cards. It used to be there were 99 legends out there on launch, and you could get a guy on your team then that would be a starter for you throughout the life of the game. Nowadays, they just make release cards cap out at like 90 overall and then just release progressively more dominant legends so you have to keep earning money in order to keep up with the meta and get better players. It's a shame that this strategy works, I saw guys on the Madden forums who had spent $5k on MUT for a single year in like 2015. **** is ridiculous.
