Over the last few centuries, the western has been always to discredit China or East Asians not sure how this is a surprise
Starting from Yellow Peril a popular propaganda belief spread in the past time of US as, here depicted in Wikipedia The Yellow Peril is a color-metaphor that East Asians are an existential danger and threat to the Western world.
With Chinese Exclusion Act 1882 that specifically ban all Chinese entering the US no matter what
With the western trying to claim hongkong back when it was only part of Britain for 100 years and was part of Chinese civilizations for thousand years
Westerners are truly afraid of asians, we are already be at the top of the socioeconomic ladder in the US, and soon it will be the asian language and culture that heavily influence the world,
and China will become the new superpower, looking at the GDP chart as well as technological advaancement, it is safe to say that it will be the world new superpower far surpassing the US by 2050 and as fast as 2040, so if you're on your 20s and 30s you'll see it in your lifetime
Written by world war II director of United States pacific operations, Our Chinese Ally (1944) he acknowledge China potential and superiority even in 1944 when China was a dirt bag.
One may ask, “What good does it do the Chinese to have such an old civilization?” There is a very real advantage, which visitors to China often sense when they cannot explain it. The values of culture and of being civilized have existed in China so long that they have soaked right through the whole people. Even a poor Chinese with no education is likely to have the instincts and bearing of an educated man. He sets great store by such things as personal dignity, self-respect, and respect for others. Even if he knows the history of his country and his native region only by legend and folklore instead of reading, still he knows it—usually a surprising amount of it. And he has a tremendous hunger and aptitude for education, which is one of the reasons why the future progress of China, once it is freed from foreign aggression, is likely to be amazingly rapid.
We Were Once the “Backward” Ones
There is nothing like a brief look at Chinese history to give one a new and wholesome respect for the Chinese people. We are likely- today to think of the Chinese as a “backward” people who are less civilized than we are, and it is true that in what we carelessly speak of as civilization—mechanization and the fruits of scientific discovery—they have, in the last hundred years, lagged behind the procession and are only beginning to catch up. There are reasons for this temporary backwardness which we will take up later. It is wholesome to realize, however, that this attitude of superiority on the part of Western nations has existed for only about a hundred years.
Until the Opium War of 1840–42 the European merchants and voyagers who reached the distant land of China had looked upon the Chinese with a good deal of awe as a people of superior culture. They still had much the same attitude as Marco Polo, who, in the thirteenth century, had told the people of Italy that China under the rule of the Mongols had a much more centralized and efficient system of government than European countries had. Coming from the banking and trading city of Venice, he admired the wide use of paper money in China. To a Europe which had not yet begun to use coal he also described how the Chinese mined and burned a kind of stone which was much superior to wood as fuel.
--------------------------------------------------------
Asians aren't climbing up but they are simply coming back up. Over the last 200 years or so we have seen a world that is governed by western world especially the US, it sets a standard on international language, culture, and politics. But prepare for a different world with East Asian dominance. Like it or not, you will have to suck it up.

Because most chinese in the US came ad railroad workers back in 1800s or refugees. Indians that came to the US mostly are very recent and highly educated immigrants through h1b visa and stuff. As a country in terms of GDP, HDI, India is far behind China, even in non-significant stats like average IQ.
Still the average for Chinese americans is suprisingly high considering their grandparents parents were from noneducated, poor class chinese familiesGlobal Citizen Crew - I educate stupid basement-living miscers about the world's culture and critical thinking

Yes, correct. Deep inside westerners also hate chinese from taiwan and japanese, etc. But since they comply and pose no threat to them unlike china who isnt afraid to fight back, they just let them go in peace. but “chinamen” will always prevail. Like how genghis khan conquered half of the world back then.

Skimmed it, just lol.
Chinese history and IQ scores have absolutely nothing to do with attitudes towards China. If you knew anything about how China operates, you wouldn't attempt to make this argument. If you do, and you ignore that huge factor, you're dishonest and your position is less than worthless.
I've seen this a lot lately - the clever linguistics (I'm not at all suggesting that OP is clever, but the message he delivers is the same) that always tell us that any anti-China sentiment has sprung organically from the mind of the West. Absolute trash.
I read an article the other day that suggested that "there has recently been a rise in anti-China sentiment in Australia". Oh, you mean that phantom rise in anti-China sentiment that followed explicit threats China made towards Australia? The 80% barley tariffs, with promises of more tariffs to come? The advice to Chinese to avoid coming to Australia for tourism or study?
And all of that in response to Australia's push for an investigation into COVID-19. Lmao! Yeah, you guys are the best, and operate totally reasonably internationally.
If you want to make an intelligent, reasonable point (or even one that's worth making), you would do well to begin by including relevant information instead of acting like a fukn infant with no understanding of culpability.fukn Brozart

There's no irony, genius.
You needed to use "books, charts and actual US government websites" (lol, are you 8 years old?) because you're attempting to establish an argument.
I don't need any charts to point out the massive, gaping holes in your argument.
You see, this is the difference between China and the West - when your beloved CCP tells you "they hate us 'cause they ain't us", your clever little brain just eats that up, no information necessary. The US (where I assume you live) tells its citizens the same. The difference is that in the US, people have access to information that suggests a strong alternative case.
So, in the West you can tell the difference between someone who actually reads into subjects through a critical lens and someone who just eats propaganda and regurgitates it, thinking they're making a point.
You, clearly, are the latter.fukn Brozart

"Over the last few centuries, the western has been always to discredit China or East Asians not sure how this is a surprise"
Lol at trying to bring in your retarded "hate us cause they ain't us" rhetoric to describe this. The US State Department hates China because they stopped being communist and are turning towards more free market economic policies, they don't let gays/Moslems destroy everything, they don't destroy their demographics with immigration, and they don't have retarded "domestic violence" laws which prevent men from being husbands. They wish to wage holy war on the CCP.

Is OP Chinese? I’ve noticed something about China and it’s people recently and that is they are very very insecure.
They are taught in schools from an early age about the ‘century of humiliation’ where the west and Japan teamed up and cucked them massively and as a result they hold a huge inferiority complex despite their position on the world stage. Not to mention the commies destroyed their own history in the cultural revolution, how can any proud Chinese man defend that unless they too have been cucked by their CCP overlords?
Also Hong Kong belonged to Britain for 150 years and we made it what it is today and that’s why the majority of Hong Kong Would let Hong Kong return to British rule if given the chance.

No wonder they think their country is so great, they have never stepped a foot outside of the hilbilly society and know jackchit about other cultures & ideologies. Kinda the wrong idea of patriotism of course.Global Citizen Crew - I educate stupid basement-living miscers about the world's culture and critical thinking

It is now brah. I lived in both countries so I know.
Sadly this is not 1950 where US is a superpower and sets the world standard in quality of life, education, and economic and technological development and that everyone wants to immigrate to the US, hence "the american dream."
Now everyone is even thinking about not immigrating there unless there from some war-torn or very poor countries.Global Citizen Crew - I educate stupid basement-living miscers about the world's culture and critical thinking
